I studied drama at the age of 4 and took to the stage at the age of 6. 1958 entered Tianjin Opera School, 1965 graduated from Tianjin Opera School. He was assigned to Tianjin Peking Opera Troupe and was personally handed down by Yang Baozhong, Zhang Rong Shan and Zhou Xiaotian. Zhou Xiaotian and Habaoshan like Yang Naipeng's diligence and enterprising spirit, and have taught him plays such as Playing Dengzhou, Bai Mangtai and Dingjun Mountain. He is regarded as an excellent successor of Yang School. In 2008, he was awarded the first batch of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage projects in Tianjin, and in 2009, he was awarded the third batch of representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage projects.
