Anyone who meets one of the following two conditions can register.
Category I: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent university education or above.
PMI requires applicants to have at least 4,500 hours of project management experience in five major project management processes (initial stage, planning stage, implementation stage, control stage and closing stage), and the cumulative project management months in the six years before the application date should be at least 36 months.
Note: When calculating the project management month, the required 36 months are not overlapped and separated.
Category II: Applicants who have not obtained a bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree or above.
PMI requires applicants to have at least 7,500 hours of project management experience in five major project management processes (initial stage, planning stage, implementation stage, control stage and closing stage), and the cumulative project management months in the eight years before the application date should be at least 60 months.
Note: When calculating the project management month, the required 60 months are non-overlapping and separate.

Since June, candidates for PMP exams must have more than 36 hours of experience in project management study and training, and produce copies of relevant certificates, except for the exam in March. For PMP training, you can consult R.E.P (registered education institution, abbreviation of English registered education provider) authorized by PMI.

Examination registration
Submit the registration materials and pay the examination fee according to the requirements of the registration instructions and the guide to filling out the form. Candidates in Beijing register directly at the training center of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs; Foreign candidates register at local registration points; Where there is no registration point, you can directly contact the training center of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
qualification test
PMI confirms whether a candidate is qualified to take the certification exam by reviewing the candidate's registration materials. About one month before the candidate submits the registration materials to take the exam, if the candidate's registration materials fail to pass the examination, PMI will contact the candidate by email and ask for supplementary materials. If the candidate fails to reply in time, PMI will contact the candidate again through the training center of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. Candidates who fail to submit supplementary materials to PMI or the training center of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs for personal reasons are deemed to have given up automatically. If the supplementary materials submitted by candidates are still unqualified or exceed the deadline, they can only be postponed to the next exam after the submitted materials are qualified. If you fail the qualification examination, candidates can choose to withdraw from the exam, but they must submit it before this exam. To withdraw from the exam, you need to submit an application form, pay the management fee for withdrawing from the exam, 200 yuan, and return the original invoice.
2. Contents of qualification examination
The project management experience review form is a part of PMP certification examination materials, which provides applicants with a written comprehensive report on their project management experience. Applicants must fill in and sign a qualified project management experience review form and submit it together with the PMP certification examination application form. Incomplete application forms will be returned. Within the effective time, each project shall submit an experience review form.
Each copy must fill in the following contents:
Full name of the applicant
Name and detailed address of the employer with project management experience.
Employer's telephone and fax numbers
Project start and completion dates (if the project is not completed at the time of application, the application date will be used instead of the completion date).
Approximate working hours of five processes of project management (there is no minimum requirement for any five processes)
Signature and date of the applicant
The registration process of PMP training exam is as follows:
1. Obtained the training certificate covering more than 35 hours (PUD) in nine knowledge fields in American project management knowledge system; (After completing the relevant courses, the necessary 35-hour PDU certificate will be issued soon. )
2. Submit English application materials online; (Greece PMP Training Comprehensive Registration Guidance Service)
3. One week after the application for materials is submitted, you will receive a confirmation letter from PMI. After passing the examination, you can take the PMP certification exam and then you need to register in Chinese;
4. After the Chinese registration is approved, you can take the PMP certification exam arranged by China District;
5. The application materials will be reviewed immediately (PMP Certification Department will check the application materials in a certain proportion. Submitting any false and incorrect information to PMI certification department will be punished, including suspension or revocation of examination qualification or certificate);
6. Notice of qualification application (if the candidates' application materials are qualified, PMI will send the qualified applicants' PMP certification examination qualification letter to PMI China Representative Office about 1-2 weeks before the PMP examination, and the candidates will be informed by the examination registration points in Chinese mainland);
7. Receiving the confirmation letter (i.e. admission ticket) from PMI, indicating that it has been allowed to take the exam;
8. Check the examination time and place with the examination center;
9. take the PMP exam;
10, after 4-6 weeks, you can log on to the PMI website to see if you passed the exam;
