Southern Xinjiang was the land of Pakistan in ancient times, and Han was the land of Yizhou. In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Liang Pingtong established a county in the sixth year (525).
In the second year of the Western Wei Dynasty (555), Bazhou in the east of Liangzhi was changed to Jizhou, and the county was located in Nanjiang Town today.
In the third year of Sui Huangkai (583), Jizhou governed Nanjiang, Quxi (later changed to Chi Chang), Fuyang and Baishi. In the third year of the Great Cause of Sui Dynasty (607), Jizhou was abandoned, and it was restored in the first year of Tang Wude (6 18), belonging to Nanjiang County.
In the fifth year of Song Xining (1072), Jizhou was abandoned and Nanjiang County was changed to Qinghua County in Bazhou.
In the 20th year of Yuan Dynasty (1283), Nanjiang County was merged into Huacheng County, which was under the jurisdiction of Baoning House, Guangyuan Road, Sichuan Province (where Langzhong was located).
In the 11th year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (15 16), Nanjiang County was restored and changed to "South", and Nantun River was named Nanjiang. The county seat is now Nanjiang Town.
Nanjiang County was still established in Qing Dynasty, belonging to Baoning Prefecture in northern Sichuan.
In the 3rd year of the Republic of China (19 14), Nanjiang County belonged to Jialing Road.
In the 8th year of the Republic of China (19 19), Sichuan implemented the warlord's "sector system", and Nanjiang County was subordinate to the 29th Army sector (Commander Tian). During the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area, the Red Fourth Front Army was in Nanjiang County, Kaya Hioki on February 1933 and in Chi Chang County, Kaya Hioki on May 30.
In June of the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), Nanjiang County belonged to the 15th administrative supervision area, and its affiliation remained unchanged until February of the 30th year of the Republic of China (1949) 19.
1949 12 19, Nanjiang city was liberated. Nanjiang County belongs to Daxian District, North Sichuan Administrative Region.
1May, 984, Daxian area was changed to Daxian area, and Nanjiang County belonged to Daxian area.
1993 10 the State Council approved the establishment of Bazhong Special Zone, and Nanjiang County belongs to Bazhong Special Zone.
From June 5438 to February 2000, Bazhong was abolished and Bazhong City was established, and Nanjiang County was under the jurisdiction of Bazhong City.
