Those things in Liushuchuan
My grandmother's home is in a remote mountain village. There is a small river around the village, and several weeping willows are planted by the river, hence the name "Liushuchuan".

The first three brothers Li broke ground in Liushuchuan. They recognized the mountain beauty of Liushuchuan, so they camped here, gave birth and built six adobe houses, so later generations called this village "six houses"!

Yes, these three brothers are my grandfather Li and his two brothers. Grandpa is a stonemason. When we were young, our grandson liked two things about him. One is his finger, because his index finger shows a very special L-shape, which is bent due to work. In those years, everyone was honest, never went to see a doctor or used medicine. It's all healed. As a result, their fingers will fall off, but they are bent! And a sticky little hat that he wears on his head all the year round. There is a secret pocket in the hat, and the money is always there. On holidays, we all hope to take off grandpa's sticky hat.

Grandparents have four men and three women, all of whom work alone to support a large family of 89 people (plus the child bride who came to grandma's house at the age of thirteen). Compared with how hard it is for us to raise a child now, my grandfather had a hard time in those days.

I wonder if it is the old society. Men are capable and have a big temper. My grandfather is a very irritable man. Once, he fought with Grandpa Wu, whipped her with a whip, which frightened my grandmother and scolded her at home.

Grandma is a very tolerant woman. Her uncle's books were the best to read, but she died young. My grandfather sent a white-haired man to a black-haired man. Needless to say, I am very sad. At that time, I lost my temper every day, but my grandmother just secretly wiped her tears at night and got up early for work the next day, burying all her sadness in her heart.

I was born in the world, and my grandmother delivered my baby. She is ill and takes care of me and my mother who has no child. But I didn't remember much at the time. My grandmother passed away soon, and she didn't leave any impression. I only heard my grandparents talk about my grandmother, and everyone was full of praise.

Grandma can enjoy ordinary poor days. She chopped up the cabbage and spread an omelet, which was delicious. She also invented many dishes. In those years, Dad was amazed and occasionally cooked them for us.

At that time, there was a big millstone in front of my house, and there were gullies on the big stone, all of which were chiseled by my grandfather. It was a distant past in the Northeast! Just something I heard about the past.

According to my mother, when she was a baby, she was robbed by the Japanese, so my grandfather learned a few Japanese words and worked as a translator for a while. I have some Japanese products at home. Silver-rimmed sunglasses with round bottom are brown, which is very fashionable to wear now. This Liushuchuan has witnessed the changes of an era.

More than a hundred years have passed, and the folk customs here are simple. Almost every household in the village is a relative, and there are only two or three shops. They are almost self-sufficient in food and spend little money. It is estimated that the epidemic will affect the operation of the city, but it is difficult to affect the life here. This is a good place to escape from the world.

Compared with the changes in the city, the improvement of material life in Liushuchuan for more than 30 years is not rapid, but the construction of villages and towns is also earth-shaking. But when it comes to ecology, I think Liushuchuan thirty years ago is more worthy of my memory. There is a winding river at the eastern end of the village. We swim here in summer and skate here in winter. Now the river has dried up long ago. At that time, there were many friends, and we also had a lot of things to do. When my cousin finishes her work, she will accompany my family to visit. Of course, more people caught up with which pig was killed, and the whole village went to eat pork. Women help cook, and men kill pigs to fill their stomachs. It is steaming.

Liushuchuan, which must be visited every winter and summer vacation, was accompanied by my cousin when I was a child. There are so many children in the village. Every year during the slack season, every household eats two meals a day. When they are hungry at night, they will eat a small table. At nine o'clock, they will have an extra meal, such as green onions and dipping sauce. It's delicious.

Half of my childhood was spent in that small mountain village.
