Gesang Lakang, Sangzhuzi District, Shigatse City, Tibet, was founded on 20 14. 20 14 On June 26th, the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC) approved the revocation of Shigatse area and county-level Shigatse city, the establishment of prefecture-level Shigatse city and the establishment of Sangzhuzi district of Shigatse city. The former county-level Shigatse City was changed to Sangzhuzi District, and the former county-level Shigatse City was the administrative area of Sangzhuzi District of Shigatse City.
