Chen Xiaoming, male, from Hepu, Beihai, Guangxi, 1962, received his doctorate in Chinese Department of Nankai University in July 2000, majoring in Chinese language and literature. His main research interests are Chinese lexicology, grammar, dialects, sociolinguistics and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. At present, he is a professor, vice president, director of the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Foreign Studies University. He has taught in beijing language and culture university, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Busan Foreign Studies University, and has offered the following courses: a. Foreign students: elementary Chinese, elementary oral English, elementary listening, intermediate Chinese, intermediate reading, intermediate newspapers and periodicals, advanced Chinese, advanced oral English, advanced newspapers and periodicals, grammar elective, Chinese character elective, singing to learn Chinese, introduction to Cantonese, etc. B domestic undergraduates and postgraduates: sociolinguistics, modern Chinese grammar, Chinese vocabulary research, vocabulary teaching for foreigners, grammar teaching for foreigners, Chinese comprehensive knowledge base, etc. C teacher training: oral Chinese teaching, reading Chinese teaching, vocabulary teaching, grammar teaching and pronunciation teaching.
