He is currently the vice president of Foxconn Technology Group, the general manager of Group B, the dean of IE College and the general manager of Human Resources Department. He has served as Dean of Institute of Technology, Pan-American Campus of the University of Texas, Professor and Head of Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Houston, USA, Founder of International Symposium on Theory and Application of Industrial Engineering, President of International Society of Human Factors Engineering and Industrial Safety, President of Houston Society of Industrial Engineering, President of American-Chinese Professional Society, Research Plan Review of National Science Foundation of NASA, Texas Government and International Manufacturing Society, and served as consultant to many American, China, Taiwan Province and Korean enterprise groups, and judge of manufacturing engineers of International Manufacturing Society. In 2006, he was hired as an academician of the World Productivity Society, in 2007, he was hired as an academician of the International IE Society (IIE), and in 2008, he was elected as the vice chairman of the Industrial Engineering Branch of China Machinery Society.
