Wind in the Willows is an interesting fairy tale novel, in which several lovely animal images are created: timid but adventurous mole, hospitable and romantic mouse, chivalrous and leading old badger, boastful and fashionable toad and honest otter. They live by the river or in the big forest, sharing weal and woe.

This is a book praising friendship. A mouse will do anything for a mole; Badger helps every animal in need; Toad thinks he is self-righteous, and everyone still helps him sincerely ... This kind of pure friendship is very touching to read. This is a beautiful book, just like a lyric poem, which makes people taste it again and again.
