In 2009, the global financial crisis had a great impact on college graduates, and the employment problem of more than 6 million college graduates nationwide became the focus of society and schools. At present, the initial employment rate in our hospital has reached 95%. How to find a suitable career path for students under the severe employment situation is the top priority of student work in our college this semester. Throughout the employment of graduates, we always adhere to the "student-oriented" school philosophy, give full play to the main role of schools in the employment of college students, actively build a platform, and strive to improve the employment rate of graduates. A lot of work has been done to ensure the smooth employment of graduates in 2009.

First, raise awareness and strengthen employment.

This year's employment work is facing greater difficulties and pressures than before, and the task is very arduous. Employment is related to the stability of the country, the healthy development of higher education and the realization of the goal of building a harmonious society. It is related to the overall sustainable development of the college and the vital interests of students. We believe that full participation is the guarantee for graduates' employment. Shift the focus of graduate employment, increase the linkage function of teaching and research section, strengthen the construction of graduate employment institutions in our college, organize experienced, capable and caring counselors and full-time teachers to join, and inspire teachers' sense of responsibility to participate in graduate employment with the secretary of the General Party Branch as the guide. In order to publicize the graduates, we will make the information of outstanding graduates into publicity panels and introduce the graduates who meet our own needs to the employers who have been recruiting in our college. In addition, the department administration also included the results of graduates' employment in the year-end assessment, which stimulated the enthusiasm of teachers to recommend graduates' employment to employers, and the faculty of the whole hospital made suggestions for employment, forming an employment working mechanism of "leaders focus on posts and all employees participate". Follow the working principle of "all for graduates" and the working mode of "going out, please come in, building a base and expanding the market", combine professional and part-time and highlight key points. This year, our department organized 32 special job fairs and recruited 56 graduates. In addition, more than 30 people have found work units through the recommendation of teachers from our college or other departments.

The employment of graduates in our college should actively adapt to the requirements of market development, adhere to the principle of "based on Hunan, serving the industry and facing the whole country", and follow the requirements of "leadership takes the lead, clear responsibilities, joint management and full participation", conscientiously implement the spirit of Hunan Institute of Science and Technology's instructions on the implementation plan of graduate employment in 2009, grasp the employment situation, strengthen organizational leadership, enhance the sense of responsibility, improve the management mechanism and service system of graduate employment, and ensure the employment of graduates with practical actions. The Academy of Fine Arts has set up a leading group for graduate employment to strengthen the organization and leadership of employment and implement the responsibility system.

On the one hand, make full use of the practice base to cultivate students' practical ability and innovative spirit, improve the quality of education and teaching, and cultivate applied undergraduate talents. Based on the principle of "sharing resources and complementing each other's advantages", we have successively signed letters of intent with Yueyang Tiangong Art School, five-color fire protection design institutions and other units to jointly build an internship employment base, which has achieved the market development goals of art education, art design, advertising and other industries and regions, strengthened the construction of graduate employment bases, and successfully opened up the employment markets in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangdong and other provinces and cities. On the other hand, many graduate conferences have been organized to guide students to change their employment concepts, enhance their market awareness, appropriately lower their employment ideals, adjust their employment mentality in time, try to resolve employment conflicts, and actively mobilize graduates to make full use of family and social relations and their own relations, expand employment channels and broaden employment opportunities. At the same time, our college has strengthened the follow-up investigation of previous graduates, integrated and consolidated the original employment information resources and employment market, and adopted effective measures to mobilize all faculty members to collect information on talent demand extensively, so as to recommend and help graduates find jobs. Thirdly, our college and Yueyang Artists Association jointly held the theme activity of "Let's Set Sail in 2009" for graduate employment, and achieved good results by preaching employment policies, conducting employment guidance and organizing recruitment activities. In order to meet the demand and supply of the 2009 graduates successfully held by our school, our college held a special meeting to invite employers to participate in the job fair of our school to all professional teachers, and made exquisite publicity panels on professional characteristics, teaching objectives, teaching achievements, outstanding graduates' information, etc., so as to better show the elegance of our college to employers. In this supply-demand meeting, our hospital invited 18 household units, including 6 from outside the province. Fourthly, our college encourages graduates to participate in online recruitment, enlistment, selection of cadres for the development of the western region, examinations for village officials and civil servants. And speed up the update of our website, convey relevant policies to students at the first time, and actively mobilize and organize students to participate in registration, training and examination. Actively guide and encourage graduates to work at the grass-roots level, especially encourage students with above-average grades to actively take the fifth place in the postgraduate entrance examination, civil service examination and Selected Graduates examination, and vigorously support graduates to start their own businesses. Our college organizes entrepreneurship education for college students, cultivates students' entrepreneurial spirit and ability, and further organizes entrepreneurial practice activities by taking advantage of graduation internships and apprenticeships to provide targeted project guidance, skills training and expert guidance services for students with entrepreneurial intentions. Combined with the professional reality of our college, we will increase the assistance to self-employed graduates and strive for more graduates to achieve self-employment and flexible employment. The smooth information channel is an important guarantee for graduates' employment. Actively explore the collection channels of employment information, build various forms of employment information release channels for graduates, and ensure that graduates can timely understand and master the development trends and trends of talent demand and obtain effective employment information. The faculty and staff of our college take it as their responsibility to help graduates find jobs, and collect the social demand information collected in time to the employment department, and then publish it to all graduates after sorting it out. Our college has also opened a "graduate employment information window" to release employment demand information in a timely manner. Mobilize graduates to seek employment information through the network platform, submit resumes through the network and conduct remote interviews, so as to reduce the cost of graduates' job hunting, reduce blindness in the job hunting process and improve the success rate of job hunting. At the same time, employment liaison officers are set up in each major of the graduating class to facilitate the transmission of employment information and report students' ideological trends. Through QQ group, network, student employment correspondent and telephone and other media, employment information is conveyed in time, providing efficient and high-quality employment services for graduates, ensuring the smooth development of graduates' employment in our department, especially strengthening the safety education in the process of graduates' job hunting, which has played a powerful role in ensuring graduates' safe and smooth job hunting.

V. Problems in the Employment of College Graduates in China

1, the traditional concept of employment does not adapt to the rapid development of higher education. For a long time, college students have been labeled as "social elites" and "favored children". Under the control of this public awareness, graduates have a higher employment orientation, and choose provincial capitals, southeast coastal cities and other large and medium-sized cities in the choice of employment destinations. In the choice of employment units, it is more inclined to government agencies, institutions and monopoly industries; In the understanding of employment and job selection, there is a concept of "one step at a time, never changing for life", which takes the first job selection too seriously. The unreasonable concept of employment restricts the smooth employment of college students.

2. Specialty setting does not meet the needs of social development. With the continuous refinement of social division of labor, the demand for talents in society is increasingly diversified. Due to the changing market demand and the lack of students' innovative consciousness, it is far from the social demand for talents. Without market demand, some professional college students will face unemployment after graduation.

3. The employment market information is asymmetric and the employment market mechanism is imperfect. Although our college is gradually building an employment information publishing platform and improving the employment information publishing mechanism, it can't meet the demand of graduates for employment information selection due to factors such as small amount of information and time lag. At the same time, the employment market mechanism for college graduates has not yet been fully formed. Therefore, it is imperative to break through the geographical restrictions of employment information and establish a smooth and effective platform for publishing and receiving employment information for college students.
