It is said that Muhammad was born in a declining aristocratic family in Mecca, Arabia, on March/2, 5 1 year (57 1 year, April 2 1 day), and was named Muhammad (meaning "highly praised person").
On March 12th, 11th year of the Islamic calendar (June 8th, AD 632), Muhammad returned to the truth due to illness, and was buried in Medina at the age of 63.
Muhammad's birthday: also known as holy day, is one of the three major festivals in Islam.
It is said that Muhammad used to fast on the day of his birth (Monday), but now Muslims do not fast on the holy day, but prepare many delicious foods to celebrate and tell the story before Muhammad died.
Today, most holy day activities are hosted by mosques.
