2. Duan Aiping

Duan Aiping's parents died when she was a child. She lived in poverty, but she made unremitting efforts to get rid of poverty. In 2000, she was elected as the secretary of the village party branch. Under her leadership, the once impoverished hinterland has become a new countryside with roads, trees and healthy people.

3. Jing Dazhong

Jing Dazhong, male, Qiang nationality, 44 years old, party member of the Communist Party of China, is currently the deputy secretary of the county committee of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and the county head of the county people's government.

In the Wenchuan earthquake, Beichuan County was the most seriously affected county. When the earthquake happened, Jing Dazhong, the mayor of Beichuan County, was in a meeting. After the comprehensive rescue work was launched, Jing Dazhong became the deputy commander of Beichuan earthquake relief front-line headquarters and always fought in the front line.

On the afternoon of May 14, Jing Dazhong led the staff to rescue a little girl from the ruins. When Jing Dazhong ran to the stretcher with the baby in his arms, the baby kept crying. Jing Dazhong touched her face and comforted her: "Don't be afraid, son, dad saved you!" " This scene touched everyone present.

Jing Dazhong didn't sleep for three days and nights after the earthquake. He said: "The masses are our brothers and sisters. Only if we lay down our lives, the buried people will have greater hope of being rescued. "

After the earthquake, most of Beichuan County was buried. All six relatives of Jing Dazhong's family were killed.
