Formerly known as the second team of Jilin Ji Opera Troupe. Jilin Folk Art Troupe is the earliest professional duet troupe in Northeast China. South Road takes Yingkou City, Liaoning Province as the focus, which is greatly influenced by yangko and pays equal attention to singing and dancing. Since its establishment, the Alliance has created a large number of well-known and popular works. Pig Bajie on the ground, drinking a glass, sprinkling water before the horse, looking at the pictures in the West Chamber, cursing ducks, Liang Zhu going down the mountain, Bao Gong breaking the Empress Dowager Cixi, visiting couples, filling the blue bridge with water, visiting patients with his second aunt, the Monkey King's three-tone banana fan, getting drunk in the sky and so on. While creating a large number of excellent repertoires, Jilin Quyi Troupe has also trained a large number of duet artists, such as Han Ziping, Qin Zhiping, Dong Lianhai, Xu Zhenwu and Yin Weimin. Starring, Dong Wei, Li, Guan, Saiqi, Yan Shuping, etc. Jilin Folk Art Troupe is the most active professional duet performance group in Northeast China from 1980s to 1990s. North Road focuses on the Great Northern Wilderness in Heilongjiang Province, influenced by local folk songs, and sings beautifully. At present, the traditional duet programs circulating in various performance markets are basically from the repertoire created and preserved by Jilin Folk Art Troupe. After Zhao Benshan became popular in CCTV Spring Festival Evening, he pushed the Northeast duet to more audiences all over the country, and Zhao Benshan carried it forward based on Liu Laogen's big stage.
