In 2009, Valin Pipeline Company successfully entered into an equity transaction with Fortescue Metals Group Ltd(FMG), the third largest Australian iron ore manufacturer. On February 24th, the two parties signed a contract, and Valin acquired the equity of FMG/KOOC-0/2.7/KOOC-0/800 million Australian dollars (about 6.2 billion RMB), becoming the second largest shareholder.
