Li Muwen was the first ancestor of Lee Kuan Yew who moved to Singapore from Tai Po. He is the great-grandfather of Lee Kuan Yew. He has four brothers: Mu Chong, Mu En, Qi Mu and Mu Jiao. He was admitted as a scholar when he lived in Handi, Downstairs Village, Tangxi, Guye Township, dapu county.

It has created one of the immigrant backgrounds of the fourth generation of Singaporean Chinese.
