Kunming Shilin Scenic Area, also known as Yunnan Shilin, is located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Kunming, 78 kilometers away from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan. It covers an area of 350 square kilometers. Shilin Scenic Area is mainly developed into tourist areas: Shilin Scenic Area, Heisongyan Scenic Area, Longfei Waterfall Scenic Area and Changhu Scenic Area.
The climate of Shilin Scenic Area in Kunming belongs to subtropical low latitude plateau mountain monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of about 16℃, with no severe cold in winter, no intense heat in summer and four seasons like spring.
Kunming Shilin Scenic Area was rated as "World Geopark" and "World Natural Heritage Landscape" by UNESCO. 1982, approved by the State Council, has become the first batch of national key scenic spots, national 5A-level scenic spots and national civilized scenic spots.

I. Traffic information
Car: Kunming Railway Station has a "tourist through train" service in Shilin Scenic Area.
Trains: K364/K365 from Guangzhou to Kunming, K230/K23 1 from Xiamen to Kunming, K393 from Guilin to Kunming (Kuntie), 2367 from Nanning to Kunming (Liu Tie), 60816084 from Guiyang to Kunming and 2055/2055 from Zhanjiang to Kunming.
Second, the tourist route
Route 1: Shilin Scenic Area-Fengfengchi-Wannian Ganoderma lucidum-Li Ziyuan Qing-Bushao Mountain-Xiaoshilin (the tour time is about 4-5 hours).
Route 2: One-day tour of Shilin Dashuishui, where the main scenic spot of Shilin is combined with surrounding scenic spots.
