Wide water depth, no siltation or freezing all the year round, good shelter from the wind and stable navigation channel. 660 berths above 10,000 tons can be built, and ships of10-300,000 tons can enter and exit freely. Shi Qi Port Area is 68km away from Changle International Airport, 38km away from Mazu Island and 0/42km away from Keelung Port/KLOC in Taiwan Province. It is the nearest and largest deepwater wharf in Chinese mainland from Keelung Port in Taiwan Province. Land is also very convenient, 7 kilometers away from the National Highway 104 7 and 0/2 kilometers away from the entrance of Luoning Expressway/KLOC-0. Shugang Highway, Wenfu Railway under construction and Luoyuan Bay Port Railway Dedicated Line will provide fast and convenient traffic conditions for the port area.
Kemen Port Area, located on the south bank of Luoyuan Bay, will have 25 terminals, including container terminal, dry goods terminal, liquid chemicals terminal and general terminal. Huadian Kemen Thermal Power Plant has been completed.
