Qiu resume
1933 was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu on June 9. Qiu's parents are students studying in Japan. They decided to "serve the motherland" in the early 20th century. After returning to China, my father taught in colleges and universities in Chongqing and Nanjing, and also worked as an editor. My mother studied silk weaving and served as the principal of a middle school after returning to China.

1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Nanjing fell and fled to Chongqing, Sichuan with her parents.

1938- 1945 studied in Chongqing and nearby rural primary schools, and studied in Chongqing Qiujing Middle School.

1946- 1948 graduated from Nanjing No.2 Middle School, Jiangsu Province, and was a senior one. 1948 during the liberation war, I returned to Chongqing with my parents and graduated from Chongqing Qiujing Middle School and Baxian Middle School.

1950 was admitted to the Department of Geology of Chongqing University, majoring in petroleum geology. 1953, because of the urgent need for talents for national construction, he graduated one year ahead of schedule and was assigned to work in Xi 'an Geological Bureau of the Ministry of Fuel Industry. From then on, Qiu began to struggle for the oil and gas geological exploration in New China. 1953- 1964 Qiu used to be the captain of Northwest Field Team and Songliao Plain Comprehensive Research Team, and the geologist of Songliao Petroleum Exploration Bureau and Exploration Department of the Ministry of Petroleum.

Exploration is the primary problem in the development of petroleum industry, and petroleum exploration must follow the necessary procedures. However, in the early days of liberation, China's oil exploration started from scratch, and all technical equipment, operating procedures, technologies and working standards also came from the Soviet Union, and the exploration procedures were completely copied from the old Soviet Union. This program is not conducive to the discovery of oil fields. Qiu, a young technician who was then the captain of the A- 106 team of the Safety Geological Survey Team of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry, keenly watched and carefully studied this key with full enthusiasm for finding large oil and gas fields for the country at an early date. 1956, 10 In June, the paper "Discussion on Oil and Gas Exploration Procedures" and "Re-discussion on Exploration Procedures" were published in Petroleum Industry Newsletter. In these two papers, a very important question is put forward, which is of practical significance to oil exploration. Qiu's two monographs have caused a great discussion for half a year in the oil exploration field in China. On May 29th, 1957, the editorial department of Petroleum Industry Newsletter held a forum attended by relevant leaders and experts to discuss Qiu's suggestions on improving exploration procedures. It has attracted the attention of famous geological and geophysical experts such as Wang Shangwen, Meng Ersheng, Huang Xianxun, Li Desheng, Tian Zaiyi, Du Bomin, Zeng Dinggan and Zhang Chuangan. This discussion has had a great response. These opinions have constructed an original model of comprehensive oil and gas exploration in China, promoted the improvement of oil and gas exploration procedures in China and accelerated the process of oil and gas exploration in China.

During the period of 1957, the special geological research team of Songliao Plain, numbered 1 16, was formed by Xi Geological Survey Institute of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry, and went to Songliao Basin to investigate oil seedlings, observe cores, measure typical stratigraphic profiles, collect geological and geophysical data in the early stage, and carry out comprehensive oil and gas research and prospect evaluation. Qiu served as the captain. The team is located in the eighth petroleum plant in Siping City, Jilin Province. They travel long distances every day, collect rock samples during the day, and light kerosene lamps on the heatable kang in the farmhouse at night to sort out the data. They sometimes go to the Songliao Geological Brigade of the Ministry of Geology to collect data and often observe stratigraphic sections with them. Sometimes I go to the Songliao Geophysical Exploration Team of the Ministry of Geology to collect aeromagnetic maps, gravity maps and geophysical profiles across the basin, and combined with shallow drilling data, I find that the strata in Songliao Plain are gentle and undulating, with many large uplifts. Sometimes, I go deep into the virgin forest of Xiaoxing 'anling in the northern part of Songliao Plain with the Songliao field team, and ask the Oroqen brothers to be the guide to cross the deep mountains and forests and extensively investigate the geological conditions. Although the work is hard, it is very rewarding. After a year's efforts, Qiu pointed out in the annual summary report of Geological Research Team 1 16 that Songliao Basin is a region with great oil-bearing prospects, and put forward alternative benchmark wells, one of which is located in Putaohua structure in the south of Daqing Oilfield. The Exploration Department of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry agreed with the main points of the report and fully deployed the exploration work in Songliao Plain on 1958, which accelerated the process of discovering Daqing Oilfield.

1June, 958, the Ministry of Petroleum Industry decided to establish Songliao Petroleum Exploration Bureau, which was directly led by the Ministry of Petroleum. Qiu was appointed geologist and head of the comprehensive research group of the Geological Office. During this period, he participated in determining the well locations of Songji 1 and Songji 2, and then proposed to drill a benchmark well in Dianlong, Datong Town, Anda County, Heilongjiang Province, in an effort to implement the principle that oil exploration is more important than formation exploration. Qiu was ordered to transfer to the Exploration Department of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry when the well location of songji No.3 was uncertain. The first thing he did when he went to work in the Ministry of Petroleum Industry in Beijing at the end of August happened to be to deal with the letter copied by the Songliao General Survey Brigade of the Ministry of Geology to the Ministry of Petroleum about the location of the No.3 benchmark well in Songliao Plain, which is located near Qiaojiaweizi, Kaitong County, Jilin Province. He himself and the main backbone of the geological field of Songliao Bureau hold objections to this well location, and agree that it should be located on the electrical uplift near Datong Town. Therefore, he made a decisive decision, signed an objection and put forward: "The well location is not on the structure or uplift, which does not conform to the principle of oil exploration for benchmark wells." There are deep wells in the south, so it is not the most urgent problem to find out the situation of deep strata in the south of the plain. Songliao Petroleum Exploration Bureau also disagreed with the No.3 well location proposed by Songliao Brigade. Later, after repeated argumentation, the well location of Songji 3 was agreed by Songliao Earthquake Brigade and General Survey Brigade of the Ministry of Geology, and finally approved by the Ministry of Petroleum Industry. Oil sands were discovered in songji Well 3 on August 1959. The Ministry of Petroleum Industry attached great importance to it, and sent four people, including Zhao Shengzhen and Qiu, to the songji No.3 well site to take charge of oil testing and perforation. In the long-term continuous operation, Qiu and others fought day and night with the workers at the wellhead, and their clothes were covered with oil sludge, and they still insisted on oil testing. On September 26th, songji No.3 well drained the accumulated water, and finally successfully jetted out the industrial oil flow. Qiu started from 1957, the first batch of petroleum systems entering Songliao Plain, and conducted a comprehensive geological investigation and study. After well location demonstration, casing perforation and oil testing, songji No.3 well readily received oil on the eve of 1959 National Day and participated in the whole process of discovery in Daqing Oilfield. 1964- 1967 Qiu worked as a geologist, laboratory director and deputy chief geologist in Sichuan gas field of Shengli Oilfield.

From 65438 to 0964, Qiu was appointed by the Ministry of Petroleum Industry to participate in the battle of Shengli Oilfield in Dongying, Shandong Province and conduct comprehensive geological research. Appointed as the deputy director of the comprehensive office of the geological command post. After arriving in Dongying, my first job was to participate in the establishment of "iron column" geological data. "Iron column" means that all geological data of each exploration well should be complete and accurate, as reliable as a column. Referring to the data management experience of Daqing and combining with the geological characteristics of Dongying area, Qiu participated in the formulation of the complete quasi-data standard requirements of 25 categories and 135.

1 In May, 964, Qiu came to Tuo 1 well site in Shengli Oilfield with his bedroll on his back, and lived and worked with the workers to observe and master the dynamics of Tuo1well. Later, when the Tuo 1 well was drilled into the second member of Shahejie Formation of Paleogene, the oil layer was discovered. After oil testing, the daily output of crude oil reached more than 400 cubic meters, marking the birth of Shengtuo Oilfield. At the same time, it also broke through the shackles of the old framework for exploring the third member of Shahejie Formation at that time. They carefully analyzed the drilling data in Tuozhuang-Shengli Village area, and were pleasantly surprised to find that the Shengli Village Ying 5 well drilled as early as a year ago also had this whole set of thick oil layers in the second member of Shahejie Formation, but it was mistaken for an oil-bearing water layer at that time (there was originally an oil layer of 65m, but only an oil layer of 2.8m was explained). The water injection in Tuo 1 well dispelled the fog of exploration knowledge and further improved the understanding and evaluation of Shengtuo Oilfield. Based on this, Well Ying-5 was tested again in the second member of Shahejie Formation, with a daily output of 400 cubic meters of crude oil.

After high oil flow was obtained in Tuo 1 Well and Ying 5 Well, Shengli Oilfield Combat Command concentrated more than 10 drilling teams to drill Shengtuo structure. New geological problems emerge one after another, that is, the first batch of wells are drilled into oil layers, and oil layers and water layers appear alternately. Qiu and Chen Sizhong, head of the reservoir group, and Lu, deputy head of the reservoir group, repeatedly studied geological data. The conclusion is that there are two sets of oil-water systems in Shengtuo Oilfield, that is, there is one set of oil-water system in the upper and lower oil groups, with a section of interlayer in the middle. This is a "two-story" oilfield, and the height of each oil column is closely related to structural sealing. The drilling results completely confirmed the correctness of this explanation. The discovery and evaluation of Shengtuo Oilfield has expanded and enriched geologists' understanding of new strata and new reservoir types.
