From June 65438 to July 0982, he worked as a teacher in the Archaeological Teaching and Research Section of the History Department of Wuhan University, and later transferred to the Institute of Historical Geography.

From the beginning of 1993 to the beginning of 1996, he served as the deputy director of the history department.

1September 1997 to1August 1998 went to Japan for cooperative research.
