Anita Mui (1963—2003) was born in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, and his ancestral home was Hepu, Guangxi. When he was young, he began to perform at the age of five, and he was a superstar in music and film in Greater China. Anita Mui is famous for her deep voice and gorgeous and changeable image. He has won the highest honor "Golden Needle Award" and "Artistic Achievement Award" in Hong Kong music industry, and is the youngest winner of lifelong achievement award in Hong Kong music industry. In terms of movies, she won the Hong Kong Film Academy Award and the Golden Horse Award for Best Actress for her leading role in "Rouge Kou" and the Changchun Film Festival·China for Best Actress for "Rhapsody in July". In addition, she is one of the founders and president of Hong Kong Artists Association, and is known as the "big sister" of Hong Kong entertainment circle. He died in the early morning of February 30, 2003 at the age of 40.
