The memorial hall of Jiaozhuanghu tunnel warfare site is located at the foot of Waituo Mountain in the northeast of Yanshan Mountain in Shunyi District, Beijing, 60 kilometers away from Beijing, and now belongs to Longwantun Town.

The memorial hall was built in the autumn of 1964 and named as "the exhibition room of the militia struggle room of Jiaozhuanghu". 1979, the Beijing municipal government decided to be a municipal key cultural relics protection unit, and renamed it "Beijing Jiaozhuanghu tunnel warfare site memorial hall". In order to fight the enemy for a long time, the village party branch mobilized the masses to connect individual hidden caves and fight in the tunnels. By 1946, the whole village had dug 23-mile-long tunnels, criss-crossing and connecting with neighboring villages, forming a battle tunnel network capable of fighting and preventing. On June 1947+00, Shunyi county people's government awarded the banner of "people's first fortress" to Jiaozhuanghu, and placed it on the top of the 18-meter-high militia watchtower. In order to cherish the memory of the heroic achievements of revolutionary martyrs and educate the people in the traditional way, the exhibition room reproduces the historical picture of Jiaozhuanghu people's heroic struggle with foreigners in China under the leadership of the Party with detailed materials, precious cultural relics and real tunnel warfare sites.
