The story describes a monastery in Castilla, Spain, where the monk Fernando fell in love with Leonora, the king's concubine (Halfon-so on Leonai Island). When Fernando knew that Leonora had a noble status, he decided to join the army and make great contributions, and then proposed to her after obtaining an honorary status. Later, Fernando realized his dream. He commanded the Spanish army to defeat the Moors, so the king prepared a celebration banquet for him. Leonora was happy with Fernando's heroic behavior, but she was afraid that he would know about her relationship with the king. At this moment, Fernando's love letter to Leonora was discovered by the king, who was furious, but the pope's messenger blamed him for his relationship with Leonora and announced that the church would excommunicate him if Leonora was not expelled.
