Yingla is the oldest of the nine children of the Sinava family. The Sinava family was born in Meizhou, Guangdong, and Yingla's mother's name is Huang Jinli (also translated as Huang Jinlei). Her ancestral home is Meijiao Village, Songkou Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province.
