Academic post

Professor Xia Younan is currently the deputy editor-in-chief of Nano Express of American Chemical Society, and he is also the Advanced Health Care Materials (20 1 1-, working as Hairmannoft Headboard) and Research (20 18-). Nanomaterials for Chemical Application (20 18-), Small Method (20 17-), Chemical Nanomaterials (20 15-) and Chemical Physics Express (20 14-). China Journal of Chemistry (206544 Particle Systems Characterization), Angwandte Chemistry Internationalization (2013-), Chemistry: Anasianjournal (2010-), editors of many international magazines, such as Nano Research (2008-), Nano Today (2006-), International Journal of Nanotechnology (2003-) and Advanced Functional Materials (200/kloc-0).

Research fields and achievements

Since 1997, Xia Younan has made full use of interdisciplinary opportunities to boldly and innovatively integrate basic chemical research into the exploration of new nanomaterials.

His research team took the lead in trying to skillfully design nanomaterials with different morphologies and specifications by understanding and controlling the formation process of nanostructures. Their long-term goal is to gradually improve the "design rules" of nanomaterials and establish a scientific platform for large-scale production of nanomaterials, thus benefiting "nanotechnology" in various fields such as electronics, photonics, catalysis, information storage and bioengineering, cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Professor Xia Younan has been paying close attention to the development of science and technology in China. Xia Younan used his close relationship with AdvancedMaterials published by internationally renowned WILEY Publishing Company to organize and publish his China Album as early as 1999, with the five-star red flag as the cover, showing the outstanding achievements in the frontier research field of China's materials science.

Education and training

Mr. Xia has trained many outstanding talents for the country, including Professor Zeng Jie, Professor Yin Yadong, Professor Xiong Yujie, Professor Cheng, Associate Professor, Dr. Ma and Dr. Jin.

In 2005, as a micro-scale physical chemistry research team supported by China University of Science and Technology, it was awarded the title of "Famous Overseas Scholars" by China Academy of Sciences. 20 10 edited the special issue of Advanced Materials of Chinese University of Science and Technology, introducing the research on advanced materials by teachers and alumni of Chinese University of Science and Technology. In the same year, the special issue of Advanced Functional Materials for Scientists in China was edited, focusing on the contribution of China scientists in the fields of function and nano-materials.
