Brief introduction of Tang
Gao Shi (about 704-765) was born in Bohai County (now Jingxian County, Hebei Province) in Tang Dynasty, and later moved to Song Cheng, Songzhou (now Suiyang, Shangqiu, Henan Province). A famous frontier poet in Tang Dynasty, he used to be an assistant minister of the Ministry of Punishment, a regular servant of Sanshi, and a magistrate of Bohai County.

Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty was born in Chang 'an for four years (704). In the 11th year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (723), Emperor Xuanzong was twenty years old. So I went to Chang 'an for about a year, then traveled to Liang and Song Dynasties, and then settled in Song Cheng (now Shangqiu, Henan Province), trying to get it. From this time to the 19th year of Kaiyuan (73 1), he lived in the Song Dynasty.

In the first year of Shang Yuan in Tang Dynasty (760), Gao Shi was 57 years old. He was appointed as the secretariat of Zhou Shu until the beginning of the first year of Zong Guangde (763).

They also wrote about the hardships of their military life and their good wishes for peace, exposing the arrogance and extravagance of frontier generals, their lack of sympathy for the foot soldiers and the unclear rewards and punishments of the court, and their helplessness in safeguarding the border, showing their feelings of worrying about the country and loving the people. Gao Shi's works praising unjust wars and discriminating against ethnic minorities, such as Li Yunnan's Poems for Young Adults, are the dross of this kind of poetry.
