1, school profile:

Zhoukou No.2 Senior Middle School was founded by the municipal government in 2000 on the basis of financial secondary school. It is a boarding city-level demonstration high school. The school covers an area of 1 18 mu, of which the east teaching area covers an area of 40 mu. At present, there are 204 faculty members, 3260 students and 38 classes.

2. Hardware facilities:

In recent years, with the direct leadership of Zhoukou Education Bureau and the strong support from all walks of life, the scale of the school has been growing and the teaching facilities have been improved rapidly. Now it has a teaching building, a scientific research laboratory building, an office building, a high-standard student comprehensive restaurant and a student apartment building.

At the same time, it has modern teaching facilities such as multimedia classroom, microcomputer room, campus broadband network, teacher's electronic lesson preparation room, satellite ground receiving system, automatic voice broadcasting system, physical and chemical laboratory, library (53,700 volumes), reading room, etc.

3. Teachers:

The school leadership is young, full of reform consciousness and innovative spirit, adheres to the party's educational principles and policies, and actively implements the school-running thought of "civilization, diligence, truth-seeking and innovation". Scientific management, democratic style, leading by example, has strong cohesion and combat effectiveness.

Among the 204 teaching and administrative staff, there are 54 senior teachers, 5/kloc-0 middle school teachers, 22 provincial backbone teachers and 36 municipal backbone teachers. It is a fighting team with tenacious style, reasonable structure, high professional quality and management ability.

4. School results:

Since its establishment, the school has sent nearly 1,000 freshmen to various universities, among which Zhang Fangbo, a 2004 student, was admitted to Peking University and Yan Li, a 2005 student, was admitted to Tsinghua University. A large number of students such as Li Qifeng, Wu Di, Yang Yang, Song Bo, Xia Kun, Blair, Ma Bing, Li Rui, Zhou Zhenhua, Zhang Yanjie and Zhang Wei were admitted to Wuhan University, Chongqing University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Central Judicial Police University and Naval Flying Academy.
