Born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, 1967. 1989 graduated from the art history department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and stayed as a teacher. 1998 received a doctorate in literature. He is currently an associate professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and vice president of the School of Humanities. At present, he is a professor and master tutor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, artistic director of Art Beijing, director of Art Finance magazine, director of AMRC Art Market Analysis and Research Center, executive director of CCAD China Modern and Contemporary Art Literature Research Fund, and deputy secretary general of Wu Zuoren International Art Foundation. The main research directions are art history, protection and development of cultural heritage, art management and art promotion.
