Shiyang Martyrs Cemetery is located at the southern foot of Hongshan Mountain in Wuchang. 1On the evening of February 7th, 923, Beiyang Warlords arrested Shi Yang, legal adviser and member of Han Jing Railway Federation of Trade Unions, on charges of "inciting labor unrest". June 15, shot at the foot of Hongshan. That night, workers of Hankou rickshaw union risked their lives to bury Shiyang's body in Jiangshen Temple outside Wuchang. In July of the same year, the CPC Hubei Party Organization and Hubei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions buried Shiyang's coffin at the northern foot of Hongshan. 1953 Due to road expansion, Wuhan Federation of Trade Unions moved the cemetery to its current site.
The cemetery faces south, and the main body consists of three parts. It enters from the entrance, climbs the steps and crosses the arch. This is an ornamental square. The full-length statue of Shiyang stands tall in the center of the square (bust before 1995). On the pedestal, the poem of Comrade Dong 1957 is engraved: "The history of hatred and blood and tears of the Erqi workers is left behind and stinks for thousands of years. Lawyers should fight for human justice and die for fame. " The monument is 5 meters high, 2.2 meters wide and 35 meters long. The life story of the martyr is engraved on the left, and the "February 27" tragedy is engraved on the right. Behind the monument is the Shiyang Martyrs Monument. The martyrs were originally buried at the foot of Hongshan Mountain, and then moved to the mountainside to build the existing mausoleum. The tomb faces south and is octagonal, with a side length of 1.9 meters. It says "Tomb of the Martyrs of Shiyang".

The design of the whole cemetery is full of the admiration of future generations for the martyrs. Steps, statues, graves, monuments and evergreen pines and cypresses all present a symmetrical beauty with their solemnity. The cemetery is surrounded by rows of tall buildings, and the cemetery is surrounded by lush trees. It is not only the habitat of martyrs, but also the place where young people rely on martyrs to carry out revolutionary tradition education and patriotism education. 1956 Hubei Provincial People's Committee announced it as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit.
In 2005, the National Development and Reform Commission, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, National Tourism Administration and other departments 13 jointly issued a document, listing Shiyang Martyrs Cemetery as one of the 30 national top-quality red tourist routes. Shiyang Tomb was originally located at the western foot of Hongshan Mountain, and was moved to the southern foot of Hongshan Mountain in 1953. A wide ramp was built in front of the tomb, and a monument about 20 meters high stood in the middle of the platform. The front is engraved with the words "Shiyang Martyrs Monument", the back is engraved with the details of the martyrs' revolution, and the monument is also engraved with a bust of the martyrs. On the front of the lower stone platform, Dong's poem mourning the martyrs is engraved: "The hatred and blood of the Twenty-Seven Workers left history, and their legacy is immortal. "Lawyers should be just, they should be martyrs." Surrounded by low walls and guarded by pines and cypresses, it presents a solemn and quiet atmosphere.
