Yunxian county is located on the edge of Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi provinces, in the north and west of Shiyan city in northwest Hubei, in the upper reaches of the Han River, and in the gentle slope of the residual veins extending eastward from Bashan Mountain in Qinling Mountains. There are both mountains and basins in the territory. The northern part belongs to Qinling Mountains, and the southern part belongs to Wudang Mountain, which is more than 800 meters above sea level. The Hanjiang river basin in the middle is a hilly area with an altitude of 250 ~ 500 meters. Gullies and hills crisscross, and Shan Ye has a vast territory and dangerous terrain.
