The teaching and research team of the college is strong, with 1 National Jieqing, 24 professors and more than 50 associate professors and deputy senior teachers. There are 35 teachers with doctoral degrees, more than 50 graduate tutors, Professor Bo Z.Q of the United Kingdom as honorary dean, Professor Dong Chaoyang of Newcastle University of Australia as distinguished professor of Hunan Province's "Hundred Talents Program", Vice President Lu of Hunan Electric Power Experimental Research Institute, Dr. Zhong of Liverpool University of the United Kingdom as distinguished professor, and Dean Zeng as the winner of the 20 14 National Youth Award.

In recent years, the college has undertaken more than 50 vertical and horizontal scientific research projects, including the National 863 Sub-project, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Major Project and the Hunan Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund. More than 20 awards were won, including the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award 1, the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, the first prize of the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, 8 prizes, 7 prizes and 3 prizes 12. He obtained more than 50 invention patents, published more than 0/000 scientific research papers, and was included in more than 600 international searches by SCI, EI and ISTP. The college won 5 provincial excellent teaching achievement awards, published 5 monographs 15, and published 30 textbooks.
