Professor Xiao Bo has successfully established a research team with strong scientific research ability and good cooperative relationship. Three open technology platforms, namely homologous recombination (bacterial artificial chromosome) operating platform, protein interaction research platform and molecular imaging platform, were established. We have established extensive cooperation and exchanges with many well-known laboratories at home and abroad. Up to now, the laboratory has sent 12 graduate students to Johns Hopkins University in the United States to study advanced technologies such as es cells, nerve cell culture and micromanipulation, and the feeding and operation of transgenic mice. Under the guidance of Professor Xiao Bo, the Neuromolecular Biology Laboratory has successfully established more than 10 gene knockout animal models, and on this basis, it has carried out extensive research on the molecules related to neuropsychiatric diseases and their mechanisms of action.
