One of the four concubines of Emperor Taizong in Li Shimin, the daughter of Emperor Yang Di Yang Guang, is not contained in the emblem, and the burial place is unknown.
Li Ke, the third son of Emperor Taizong, and Li _, the sixth son of Shu. There are few positive records of him in history books, only a few characters, but it is recorded in the biography of his son Li Ke, the king of Wu. From the context, Ke Li was noticed by Tang Ting because she was born into a noble family.
Daughter of Emperor Sui
As one of Yang Guang's few children, Yang Fei should be well educated by the royal family in his childhood. The first mother, Xiao, is the daughter of Princess Xiao Kui, and the queen, Chen Guiren, is the sixth daughter. Madame is the fourteenth daughter of the emperor, Princess Ningyuan, the emperor's sister and Princess Chen are the fourth daughters of Princess Guangde.
Yang Fei's biological mother, without historical data, has many possibilities, but it is still inconclusive. Some people think it was born by senior concubines, others think it was born by ordinary concubines, and a few people think it was born by Xiao. There are many sayings. Although there were many concubines in the later period of the Great Cause, the number of concubines in the Jin and Zi Dynasties was limited, with only four children. Besides, Emperor Yang Di once said to his courtiers: I only have one son, otherwise, I must punish him in public, so that there are really not many children. Therefore, considering the possibility that Sui Shu omitted to record other princesses, it can be judged that if Feiyang has other half-sisters, no more than two should be credible.
It should be noted that the birth and status of a person's biological mother's family has no influence on the status of emperors and women in Yang Fei, that is to say, the status of emperors and women in Yang Fei is directly determined by the status of their fathers. In the ancient patriarchal society, the patriarchal clan system formed by paternal blood relatives constituted the core of the royal ruling power, and the mother had no decisive significance for future generations, but the status of the family sometimes affected the degree of respect it might receive.
The existing history books do not record her date of birth, but through the date of birth of her son Li Ke, that is, 6 19, it is inferred that Yang Fei should have been born at least at the beginning of Daye or even earlier, but not later than three years later.
As one of Yang Guang's few children, Yang Fei should be well educated by the royal family in his childhood. But whether it was canonized or not, and why the title of princess no longer exists, still need further archaeological discovery. Referring to the famous ministers and emperors of the same period, such as Liang Fei of Xiao and Chen Fei of Chen, it can be seen that it is not uncommon for women's titles to be missing in the same period in official history.
As for whether she was married or even gave birth to other children before joining Li Shimin, the existing historical materials are still blank and inconclusive.
Yang Di has been keen on traveling all his life, and his footprints have been from the northwest to Jiangzuo. During this period, all her family members and children accompanied her, so it was possible and unusual for Yang Fei to travel with his father in his early years.
Sui Tang Yan xing
After Yang Di ascended the throne, he built the Grand Canal, the Great Wall and Luoyang City, the eastern capital, opened up the territory to open the Silk Road, levied Goguryeo, and began the imperial examination. Huge projects and years of war overwhelmed people's livelihood, and the reform of Emperor Wendi and Yang Di in Sui Dynasty touched the interests of the main entrance, which eventually triggered a large-scale rebellion in the late Sui Dynasty. When Zhongyuan and Guanzhong were in turmoil, Yang Di, who was bent on patrolling outside, could no longer return to the capital Daxing after the siege of Yanmen. Instead, he led 10 million Xiaoguo south to Jiangdu in an attempt to drag out an ignoble existence in Jiangnan, and most of his family accompanied him. It is not excluded that Yang Fei was among them, and he went south to Jiangdu with his father.
6 17 In May, Tang Guogong and Li Yuan, who stayed behind in Taiyuan, set up troops in Jinyang, occupied Chang 'an in November, and made the grandson of Yang Di, who stayed behind in Chang 'an, the emperor of Yining, that is, the emperor of Sui Palace, as the emperor's father. Tang Gaozu was appointed Prime Minister and became the king of the Tang Dynasty. In March of 68 1 year, that is, in the 14th year of Great Cause, Emperor Yang Di was hanged in Jiangdu by Minister Yu Wenhuaji, and all the accompanying Yang _ and were killed, and Yang Fei's relatives, especially male relatives, died countless times. In May of the same year, Li Yuan usurped Sui as emperor, with the title of Tang, and was abolished as _ Lord protector, living in Chang 'an, and collapsed in May of the following year. The Sui Dynasty hoped to completely restore the country, declared its demise, and founded the country for 38 years.
Yang Di's Xiao Huanghou and Yang Fei's eldest sister Princess Nanyang were imprisoned and went north with Yu Wenhuaji. After Dou Jiande's defeat, Princess Yicheng welcomed Xiao into Turkey, and then Yang Zhengdao, the grandson of the emperor, was appointed King of Sui, and Princess Nanyang returned to Chang 'an. It was not until 630, that is, in the fourth year of Tang Zhenguan, that Li Shimin of Emperor Taizong defeated the Turkish army, and Hou Yaozong returned to Chang 'an with the imperial seal. This is another story. Whether Yang Fei personally experienced the change of Jiangdu Palace, or why she didn't go with her father, or whether she was also captured by Yu Wenhuaji, the history is unknown and cannot be confirmed.
It is in this historical background that in just a few years, Yang Fei has fallen from the favored son of heaven to the daughter of national subjugation; Referring to Yang Gongren's experience of returning to Chang 'an after being captured, and the time when she gave birth, we can know that she entered Qin in Wu Dechun in March at the latest.
Wu Dechu, the daughter of the former emperor, Yang Fei married Li Shimin, the second son of Tang Gaozu, the then king of Qin. There is no detailed record in the history books. It is speculated that they belong to a political marriage, and some people think that they have known each other for a long time, and the existing historical materials can no longer be confirmed. The typical gate politics in Sui and Tang Dynasties led to frequent political alliances among aristocratic families through marriage, and their in-laws were intertwined. Cousins with the king of Qin, and her grandmother Sui Wenhou and her grandmother Tang are Du's seventh and fourth daughters respectively. These two women are the mothers of Yang Di Yang Guang and Tang Gaozu Li Yuan, so Yang Fei can be called Li Shimin's cousin. Their combination not only enriched the foundation of Li Yuan's family in blood, but also in politics.
In what capacity did she marry into Qin Gong? The existing historical materials are unknown. According to the systematic records of existing historical materials, it is unlikely that Yang Fei will marry into Qin Gong as a grand princess, but she was hired as a relative of lord protector after May of the first year of Wude, and her rank is unknown. Should be equivalent to Yan's epitaph, after he was hired into the court, called a noble.
Tang guifei
After the change of Xuanwu Gate in 626, Li Shimin proclaimed himself emperor. According to Biography of the Scholars of Emperor Taizong, the title of concubine is not simply a general term for concubines, but Yang should have won the title of concubine after he ascended the throne, belonging to one of the four famous ladies. According to Zhou Li's four-star system and the system of the Tang Dynasty, the position of four wives is second only to that of the empress, namely, the imperial concubine, the comfortable concubine, the imperial concubine and the virtuous concubine. But unfortunately, her specific title is unknown, and it was lost when she got it.
There are many controversies about the appellation of ""because of the complexity of gold seal results and the fuzziness of historical materials.
One view is that Yang Fei is the Shu Fei among the four great ladies, and quite a few people hold this view, because the titles of the four great ladies Wei Guifei, Yang, Yin Defai and Yan Xianfei do not seem to contradict each other. But in fact, this view is uncertain. According to archaeological and historical records, there are actually six people as four concubines, that is, besides Wei, Yang, Yin and Yan, there are also two Tang books, Yang Guifei, the mother of Li Fu, and Zheng, the virtuous concubine recorded in Tang Dynasty. It does not rule out the possibility that Yin is a Shu princess and Yang is a De princess.
The second view is that Yang Fei died early, so the title was granted posthumously, so it can be any one, so it is not contradictory to the actual situation of Jinfeng. It is natural for Yang Guifei to be renamed Guifei step by step, but the historical materials have not mentioned anything about the filial piety of Li Ke and others, which is one of the serious injuries. For example, Liu Liangdi of Sui Shu University mentioned his son Yan Wang, who cried every time his mother died. In Sui and Tang Dynasties, when filial piety and Yu Wei system existed, filial piety was a concentrated expression of personal character. People who are famous for their filial piety can even be directly recommended as officials, but it is puzzling that they are not mentioned in Li Ke's biography or epitaph.
The third view is that they may be out for some reason, just like Cui Guifei and Dou Lugui. Dou Lugui's princess didn't live in the palace because she went out, so Cui Shi may be chasing the seal. Therefore, under this premise, Yang Fei may also be awarded any title, which is not contradictory to the existing historical records.
The fourth view that Yang Fei and Yang Guifei are the same person is extremely rare. In view of the practice of compiling history and appellation in the palace at the same time, the two concubines of Emperor Taizong indiscriminately called each other Yang Fei, which was rough and abrupt. With the rise of epigraphy in the Five Dynasties, tombstones and rubbings of epitaphs were preserved, which provided supplementary information for future generations to revise history. There are two Yang Fei in Emperor Taizong's harem, or the epigraphy is incomplete due to the lack of national history, but this statement needs more powerful evidence.
There are many concubines in Emperor Taizong's harem, especially after the epitaph of Wang Zhao's Li Fu was unearthed, the existing historical records directly led to the coexistence of two concubines, which conflicted with the known information of the harem system; If it is a memorial, it is necessary to prove that Yang Guifei died before her son Li Fu, so that her son's epitaph will write her last title. However, Li Fu's epitaph does not clearly write filial piety, so it is impossible to assert that Yang Guifei died early, while Zhao's epitaph states that Wang was born by Yang Guifei, not as a gift to Yang Guifei, and judging from Tang's words, Yang Guifei lived in Yonghui for at least six years and was given to Zhao Guifei, so some scholars think that Yang Guifei died after Li Fu.
Old age becomes a mystery.
The year of Yang Fei's death is unknown; Whether Zhaoling will be buried with him is also unknown.
At the beginning of 653, Li Ke was involved in a political struggle and died unjustly. His brother Li was also implicated. From the books of the Tang Dynasty, we didn't see the influence of this case on Yang Fei's life. It is difficult to judge whether she lost historical materials or died before the unjust case, and was not implicated.
