Character story Wang Hai/Kloc-0 joined the revolution in May, 1944, joined the army in June, 1946, and became a fighter pilot in June, 1950. During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, he led the first brigade of the young People's Air Force and fought fiercely with the US Air Force, which is known as the "ace in the world", for more than 80 times, shooting down 29 enemy planes, and I shot down 9 enemy planes. Because of its outstanding military achievements, the brigade was later named "Wanghai Brigade". After the volunteers returned to China, Wang Hai successively served as a division commander, deputy division commander, air force commander of the military region, deputy air force commander and air force commander. He was a member of the 12th, 13th and 14th Central Committee, and was awarded the rank of Air Force General by the Central Military Commission in September, 1988.
