1966 After graduating from high school, he returned to his hometown to farm. 1973 graduated from Hefei university of technology, majoring in electrical machinery manufacturing, and 1998 graduated from the graduate school of Chinese academy of social sciences, majoring in business economics.

He has served as the workshop director of Boxian Electric Machinery Factory, the director of the Revolutionary Committee of Boxian Shili People's Commune, the full-time group cadre, the chief of the cadre section of Fuyang prefectural Party Committee Organization Department, the deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Fuyang prefectural Party Committee, the deputy secretary of Funan County Committee, the secretary of the county party Committee, the member of Fuyang prefectural Party Committee, the secretary of Bozhou Municipal Party Committee, the mayor of Huangshan City, and the party secretary and director of Anhui Provincial Bureau of Statistics.

On June 26th, 2007, he was elected as the Standing Committee of the Ninth Anhui Provincial Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference. In May 2007, 15 was elected as the deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Committee of the 9th Anhui Provincial Political Consultative Conference.
