1966 was born in Dulles, a port city in western Albania, and 1988 graduated from Albanian Military Academy. 1996, studied in the United States, and graduated from the Law Department of Tirana University in 2004. 199 1 joined the albanian democratic party and worked in the Ministry of national defense and the Ministry of foreign affairs. 1997 After the Democratic Party lost the election, it became the chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Military NGO. After 200 1, he served as the general secretary of the democratic party in Tirana and was elected as a member of parliament in 2004. From March 2007 to September 2009, he served as Albanian Minister of Interior, and from September 20, 2009, he served as Minister of Justice. 2011On April 25th, he was re-appointed as Minister of the Interior.
