Tu Youyou, a famous female chemist and scientist, 1930, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang. 195 1 admitted to Peking University, majoring in medicine, 1955 graduated. After graduation, she received two and a half years' training in traditional Chinese medicine and worked in China Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1972, she successfully discovered and developed artemisinin from a traditional Chinese medicine, which cured these malaria patients all over the world and won many awards. What makes us excited and happy is that she won the Nobel Prize in Medicine on 20 1515, becoming the first China woman to win the Nobel Prize in Medicine. We should learn from her and devote ourselves to scientific research.
