Translation of the Ancient Poem Partridge and Sending People away
Original text:

After singing "Guan Yang Guan", I cried dry, regarded my fame as a funeral, and urged snacks. The water is connected, as if the trees on both sides of the river extend into the endless distance, and the dark clouds with rain buried half the mountain.

Throughout the ages, there have been more than a thousand kinds of annoying things. Is it only parting that makes people sad and gathering that makes people smile? It's not very sinister, but the journey of mankind is even more difficult.

Translation:

After singing "Yangguan", the tears are not dry, and fame and fortune are just trivial things. Don't worry, eat more. The connection between water and sky seems to send the trees on both sides to the infinite distance, and the dark clouds with rain buried the heavy mountains in half.

There are many things that make people resent through the ages. Is it really only parting that makes people sad and gathering that makes people happy? It's not very dangerous when the wind and waves are rough, but the road on earth is even harder to walk.

Xin Qiji's farewell speech, however, has many good intentions and always goes beyond the usual situation. This song "Partridge Sky" can be said to be a representative.

He said sarcastically one after another, "I want to eat more when I become famous." "Fame" refers to rank. Zhang Hua's poem "Answering He Shao" says: "If you know yourself, your ambition is not in fame". It is really rare in feudal society to regard fame as "something else" or "ambition is not in fame"
