Li Lizhong's deeds
Now Chery Automobile has completed the layout of four domestic production bases and fifteen overseas factories. As the company's vice president in charge of technical production, Li Lizhong is very busy. Li Lizhong graduated from the Department of Automotive Engineering of Tsinghua University and has been engaged in automotive technology research and development and management for 25 years. He personally presided over a number of national and provincial scientific research projects and achieved fruitful academic results. During my work in Chery R&D, as the project director, I presided over the development and production preparation of five models: QQ, Oriental Son, Yun Qi, Tiggo (SUV) and A5. The innovative development of these models has established Chery's position in the domestic automobile market, and established confidence for China local automobile enterprises to carry out independent research and development and build their own brands. Therefore, in 2005, Li Lizhong won the honorary title of "Anhui Science and Technology Award". As the project host, the project of Chery A5 won the "Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in China Automobile Industry" in 2008, and the research and development of SUV in Tiggo 3 cities won the "Third Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in China Automobile Industry" in 2009.

Among many independent research and development technologies hosted by Li Lizhong, the most commendable is the research and development of Chery CVT continuously variable transmission project. With the breakthrough of this technology, Chery has established its own independent CVT gearbox evaluation system and formulated the 19 special enterprise testing standard. This automatic transmission was mass-produced and put into use in 2065,438+065,438+0, which also indicates that Chery has reached the international advanced level in the research and development and production of automatic transmission. Since then, the automatic transmission and engine electronic management system, which have been regarded as the technical bottleneck of China automobile industry, have been successfully developed by Chery, making Chery a domestic automobile enterprise that has completely mastered the four key technologies of chassis, engine, gearbox and engine electronic management system (EMS).

Among Li Lizhong's numerous titles of technical responsibility, one is the person in charge of the national "863" plan robot project. According to Li Li, this project has made a breakthrough. With the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the "863" project team, they developed a new type of heavy spot welding robot. Mr. Li said that the automobile manufacturing industry in Europe and America has long used robots to improve production quality and efficiency, reduce labor load and cope with increasing labor costs. But in China, this technology started late, and the cost of importing a robot is quite high. Therefore, the start of the "robot plan" is of great significance. At present, more than 20 self-developed robots have been running on Chery's production line. Chery's breakthrough in equipment manufacturing R&D will not only greatly enhance its own equipment matching ability and reduce procurement costs, but also break the monopoly of multinational companies on some key equipment and promote the large-scale development of related industries.

A number of independent research and development technologies led by Li Lizhong have saved a lot of costs for enterprises. At present, he is leading his team to a low-carbon, environmentally-friendly industrial structure model, and strives to establish a high-level automobile production base in Dalian that is people-oriented, high-tech, efficient, flexible and reflects energy conservation and environmental protection.
