According to relevant data, Master Li Neng used to be the abbot of Guiyuan Temple, but by March 2, 2023, he no longer served as the abbot of Guiyuan Temple.

The current abbot of Guiyuan Temple is Master Fahai, the living Buddha of Jigong. Master Li Neng is currently honorary vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, director of the Institute of Religious Culture of the Chinese Buddhist Association and honorary president of the National Academy of Sciences in China.
