Chen is a human being, a descendant of Chen. After Zhou Wuwang destroyed Zhou Wang in Shang Dynasty, he established the Zhou Dynasty, found Gui Man, the 33rd descendant of Shun, and made him a vassal. The largest number of Chen Ruyue was in the Song Dynasty.
