The word "Haveli" comes from Arabic word "hawali", which means "private space". Its history can be traced back to BC. During the Peacock Dynasty, multi-storey buildings appeared and became popular during the Mughal Dynasty. The word "Havili" has been used as a general term for various styles of local mansions, manors and palaces. At first, these Harvey benefits served the Arabs in the Indian subcontinent, and after the Mughal dynasty, they gradually evolved into the collective name of Indian merchant class houses.

Harvey Lido in Rajasthan is a courtyard-style row building, and the courtyard can be used as a light well, which helps to ventilate the houses in the hot and dry climate in this area.

Havili is mainly distributed in West Rajasthan and North Rajasthan, with different decorative styles. Havili in Shikawati, North Rajasthan is mainly distributed in villages and towns, with painting and decoration as the main features. A writer, Lai Cooper, wrote "Painted Towns in Watty, Zeca", which specifically describes the painted Harvey in Watty, Zeca; Hawiri in West Rajasthan is mainly distributed in cities, decorated with stone carvings, very luxurious and exquisite, like palaces and castles, such as Patwa-Ki-Hawiri and Salim Singh-Ki-Hawiri in Jie Sorme.

It is said that there are more than 2,000 Havili people in Shikawati, mainly distributed in Ramgar, Pa Sullam Bula, Mukun Dagar and Chulu towns. I visited Ramga and Harvey in Chulu.

The Havili here was built between 18 and 19 century. That's when businessmen doing business abroad made a fortune and sent the money back to China to build luxury houses. In addition to improving the comfort of living, there are also elements of comparison and showing off between neighbors. /kloc-In the late 9th century, the Shikawati people moved from their homes in the desert to the emerging commercial ports along the Ganges River. Now, the Harvey here has been abandoned, and most of them have been abandoned and worn out. The glory of the past is gone. Only a few villages are still inhabited. Judging from their living conditions, most of them are relatively poor, and it is estimated that they have no ability to maintain these ancient buildings, so they can only be left to waste.

Visiting these Harvey Lee is free. I have only seen a well-preserved Harvey Lee with a veranda, and I need to buy a ticket to visit.

Painted paintings have appeared in almost all parts of Harvey, and the contents of painted paintings are very rich, including myths, religions, flowers, animals and birds. From the painter's point of view, most of them can't be described as exquisite, and they should all come from the works of rural painters.

Haveli in Jayselmel is located in a crowded street outside the castle wall. These mansions made of yellow sandstone were mainly built between 19 and the 20th century. These wealthy businessmen built their mansions like palaces and decorated them with exquisite carvings everywhere, which was amazing.

I saw several exterior scenes of Havili, and visited it in Salim Singer Kihavili. There is a carved elephant in front of Harvey, which is easy to identify. 18 15, Salim Singh, then prime minister of Jia Hisard Mo, built this Havili. It has a unique shape, a narrow bottom and a large number of carvings on the top. It is said that this haveli is inspired by the graceful posture of a dancing peacock. The beautiful and charming sculpture and the fact that not even a drop of water was used in the construction of this building (no mortar or cement was used in the whole building structure) made it a legendary building.
