The screenwriter Han team, led by director Che Jingxing, visited the Imperial Capital six times and spent eight months polishing the script.
Grass-roots cadres in party member are portrayed in the affection of green leaves to roots, insisting on suffering first, not caring about gains and losses, not complaining about hard work, indifferent to their ambitions, staying up late openly, always keeping firm hands, clarifying their responsibilities, and paying silently in their posts. While carrying forward the main theme and spreading positive energy, the film adopts a unique narrative structure, striving to tell the story of Zhang Jiasheng well and carry forward the spirit of green leaf dedication of grassroots party member cadres.
Ding Haifeng, starring in the film, said at the opening ceremony that Zhang Jiasheng is willing to be a green leaf, taking root at the grassroots level and the people. With his love for this land, he used courage and perseverance to turn a remote mountain village into the current 5A-level Imperial City Xiangfu Scenic Area, and his deeds were touching. It's an honor to participate in this film. All the creative directors will make this film carefully and pay tribute to the grassroots party member cadres represented by Comrade Zhang Jiasheng.
