Extended data
The Mao Dun Literature Award is selected every four years, and the entries must be novels with more than 654.38+0.3 million words. Although there are still many controversies, Mao Dun Literature Award is still the most important literary award in China. Since 20 1 1, under the sponsorship of Mr. Li Ka-shing, the prize of Mao Dun Literature Award has been increased from 50,000 to 500,000, making it the highest prize in China.
On August 6th, 20 15, the 9th Mao Dun Literature Award was announced, and this year's selection range was from 20 1 1 to 20 14. Ge Fei's Trilogy of Jiangnan, Wang Meng's Scenery Here, Li's Life Book, Jin Yucheng's Flowers Bloom in Shanghai and Su Tong's Yellow Bird (in order of votes) finally won the Mao Dun Literature Award.
The trilogy of Jiangnan is a series of long masterpieces that the famous writer Ge Fei began to conceive in the mid-1990s, and was finally finalized on 20 1 1. While insisting on lofty artistry, the author presents the evolution track of the inner spirit of China society in the past hundred years with incisive thinking and narration. Jiangnan trilogy refers to: peach blossoms with faces, mountains and rivers in dreams, and spring scenery in Jiangnan.
Ge Fei Trilogy is a series of works in which the author deeply ponders and describes China's social, historical and ideological problems in the past hundred years after more than ten years' efforts. The first two books, Face Peach Blossom, are about intellectuals' exploration of spiritual world and social ideal in the early years of the Republic of China. "Landscape Dream" describes the dreams and social practice of intellectuals in 1950s and 1960s, while "Spring in the South of the Yangtze River" aims at the spiritual reality of China at present.
