On May 29, 2020, according to the news of the Supervision Committee of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, Yuan Yongfu, deputy secretary of Jinzhou Municipal Committee and mayor, was suspected of serious violation of the law and was currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation.
