1941June, Germany tore up the Soviet-German non-aggression treaty and launched a large-scale attack on the Soviet Union. With the invincible blitzkrieg, the Germans quickly captured the gates of Moscow. Encouraged by Stalin, the people of the whole country devoted themselves to this war which is vital to the survival of the country in order to defend their homeland.
At this time, Stalin's eldest son Yakov had become a German prisoner and was held in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany. Therefore, when Vasily repeatedly asked to go to the front to kill the enemy, Stalin did not immediately agree, but said to Vasily in great pain: "I have a prisoner of war son."
Stalin loved Vasily more than Yakov. On the one hand, Vassili grew up beside him; On the other hand, Vassili's mother nadezhda Aliluyena is Stalin's favorite wife. Therefore, when raising Vassili, Stalin had little time to accompany him, but he still placed great hopes on him.
According to Stalin's daughter Svetlana, she and Vasily have lived with their mother since childhood, so Vasily is very dependent on her mother. My mother was only 6 years old when she committed suicide, and Vasily 12 years old. The death of their mother had a great influence on them, especially Vassili, who almost collapsed. From then on, Vassili found it difficult to concentrate on his studies and his grades were not good. Stalin also wrote a letter to his mentor, which said, "Please be as strict as possible with Vasily, and don't be afraid that wayward boy will threaten you with mistakes, blackmail and even suicide."
However, although Vassili's grades are not good, he is fascinated by being a soldier. Therefore, after graduating from high school, he did not apply for the Moscow Institute of International Relations and the Institute of Foreign Trade, which are the envy of cadres' children. Instead, I chose Kacha Military Flight School and became a pilot. After graduation, I went to the Command Department of Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering College for further study.
On the eve of the Great Patriotic War, Vasily served in the Moscow Air Force Command. His flying skills were excellent at that time, so when the war broke out, he always urged to go to the front line to fight.
Because of Vassili's special status, no one dared to meet his requirements. So Vassili called Stalin, hoping to get his father's permission.
However, at that time, Vassili's brother Yakov had been captured at the front line and was detained in a German concentration camp, which made Stalin both heartbroken and helpless. So when Vassili offered to go to the front again, he didn't agree. But the more he disagreed, the more Vasily felt that he would be discriminated against. He doesn't want others to think that because he is the son of the leader, he doesn't have to go to the front.
In the end, under Vassili's soft grinding and hard foam, Stalin still met his requirements.
Vassili, with his superb flying skills, shot down German planes alone many times in fierce air battles. Of course, he also made reckless things because he was brave. In order to pursue the German plane, he left the plane formation without authorization. As a result, he was surrounded by German planes and almost died.
Soon, Vasily was promoted to the head of the 32nd Guards Killing Air Corps. At the same time, because he is brave and friendly, he has won everyone's love and respect.
At the end of World War II, Vasily has been promoted to the commander of the 286th fighter aviation division of 15 Group Army by virtue of his meritorious military service. Under his command, the 286th fighter aviation division dispatched 18 132 sorties in the battle to conquer Berlin, with a total flight time of 20,000 hours, shooting down 558 enemy planes, blowing up enemy steam engines15, automobiles 1008 and ammunition depots.
After the Great Patriotic War, Vassili was promoted to commander of the German First Guard and was awarded the rank of Major General. At 1948, 37-year-old Vasily has been promoted to commander and lieutenant general.
Vassili was promoted so quickly, not only because he was Stalin's son, but also because he was really good in person besides his meritorious military service. He was not only proficient in military affairs, but also played a supervisory role in post-war reconstruction and the construction of airports and related facilities. Under his supervision, not only Moscow airport was quickly restored and put into use, but also Bronsk and Tula airports were built one after another.
In addition, Vassili also attached great importance to the quality training of the Air Force. He will hold regular military meetings to review the army and optimize the training of the air force. He also greatly improved the living conditions of flight technicians. For example, he presided over the construction of 500 houses in Finland, which solved the housing problem of some flight technicians. In addition, at his request, all officers above sergeant must go to night school to learn cultural knowledge, so as to ensure that all cadres have a high school education level.
1950, Vassili was ordered to support the brotherly country of Korea. Throughout the battle, Vassili stayed at the front line, personally commanded the battle and won. After his triumphant return to China, yevgeny Pei Pilyayev won the title of "Soviet hero" because he hit 23 enemy planes, and was elected as the representative of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation by virtue of his meritorious service and prestige, and won the title of "first-class pilot".
However, Vasily, who was in high spirits, also suffered a career failure.
1952, the Soviet Union held a military parade on Labor Day to show its powerful military strength. The weather did not allow the plane to take off that day, but Vassili forced the plane to take off in order to show himself in front of his father, regardless of objective conditions. As a result, due to the lack of visibility, two planes collided and fell in the air, and all the pilots on board were killed.
Stalin flew into a rage after the incident. In front of everyone, he not only cursed Vasily as an ignorant fool, but also turned a deaf ear to Vasily.
This incident dealt a great blow to Vasily. For a long time, he was depressed and drank to drown his sorrows. Until Stalin's death, Vasily's position did not recover, which also made Vasily very desperate.
Once after drinking, Vasily told Aerjiaom (Stalin's adopted son) that there were only two ways for him to go next. "How about this!" He picked up a pistol and aimed it at his temple. "How about this!" He picked up the cup again and poured it into his mouth.
No one expected that Vassili became a prophet in one sentence. On the 2nd1day after Stalin's death, he was expelled from the army on the grounds of "moral corruption and drunkenness".
Shortly after he was forced to take off his military uniform, he was imprisoned and examined again. At that time, there were many charges against him, such as corruption, abuse of power and misappropriation of public funds. Although Vassili refused to plead guilty, the charges against him continued unabated.
So, why did Vassili suffer such injustice after Stalin's death?
This reminds us of Khrushchev.
Khrushchev once publicly accused Vasily: "You volunteered to go to the front, so that the sons of the entire Politburo had to follow."
It turned out that during the Great Patriotic War, Stalin's eldest son Yakov was tortured by the Germans because he refused to be a prisoner. Later, the Germans once tried to exchange Yakov for their senior generals, but Stalin refused and Yakov died in a concentration camp.
This incident had an unprecedented impact at that time, and Stalin won the love of the people of China. Stalin didn't want to lose Vassili again, so he delayed letting him go to the battlefield, but he couldn't stand Vassili's bitter request and finally got his wish.
Since Stalin sent his two sons to the battlefield, CPSU's son should naturally go to the battlefield to kill the enemy for the country. So mikoyan, Ka Ganovic and others also let their sons take guns to the battlefield.
For Khrushchev, his son Leonid was his pride. On the other hand, Leonid is a man. He was arrested in his early years for killing a Soviet Red Army officer after drinking. Later, under the mediation of Khrushchev, he was able to regain his freedom. As a result, he got mixed up with bandits again and got into trouble. Leonid should have been put to death according to the law, but Khrushchev begged Stalin in every way. Stalin was moved by his beloved son, but he asked Leonid to go to the front to plead guilty and make meritorious deeds.
Who knows, Leonid defected to Germany shortly after he went to the front. This made Stalin furious and asked the "anti-rape team" to get Leonid back to the Soviet Union at all costs. The "anti-traitor team" really captured Leonid at the expense of a large number of troops.
Because the evidence was conclusive, the military court sentenced Leonid to death according to law.
Malenkov, Monotov and others also believe that everyone is equal before the law. Stalin also wrote a special note to Khrushchev, saying that he would agree with his comrades. If this happens to his son, he can only accept this fair judgment with the grief that a father should have.
After Khrushchev came to power, the "revenge of killing children" made him eager for revenge. Almost no one who decided Leonid's fate could escape his revenge. Once, Vassili wrote to Khrushchev in prison, hoping that he would not be too hard on him for his father's sake. But Khrushchev was very angry after reading the letter and accused: "You volunteered to go to the front line, so that the sons of the Politburo had to follow."
Vasily didn't escape bad luck in the end. According to the files published later, a special military commission was set up to hear the "Vassili incident", but lawyers were not allowed to participate.
These people claim that Vassili has been very hostile to the party and the government since he was dismissed from the Soviet post, and has repeatedly spread reactionary remarks after drinking too much.
They also said that Vassili engaged in "personality cult" in the army and also used his power to squander and embezzle state property. For example, when he was a commander, someone sent him a lot of feed, and his assistant used it to feed horses and turkeys.
They also listed 76 bribes accepted by Vasily, including saddles and checkers given by friends on his birthday. The most precious thing is a shotgun from Stalin. Others include motorcycles, eye cameras and kayaks.
In a word, Vassili was punished for many crimes and put into Vladimir prison. Although he repeatedly stressed that his detention was "illegal", no one dared to speak for him.
In prison, Vassili was seriously ill twice, which led to a large number of atrophy of leg muscles and abnormal pain, so he could only walk with crutches.
1960, Vasily was so ill that he had to lie in bed all day. Someone wrote to Khrushchev and reported the situation. Later, Vasily was escorted to the Kremlin and received by Khrushchev.
According to the people present at that time, Vassili was in poor spirits and the whole person was very haggard. After seeing Khrushchev, he suddenly fell to his knees and asked Khrushchev to release him. Khrushchev also shouted his nickname excitedly and asked him with concern, what did those people do to him?
Three months later, Vasily was granted Amnesty, but after his release, Vasily often drank and drunk driving. At the suggestion of Politburo members shelepin and Marshal Rudenco, Khrushchev revoked the pardon, and Vassili was put into prison again.
After serving his second sentence, Vassili was exiled to Kazan and died there soon. According to the records, he died of alcoholism at the age of 4 1 year. After Vassili's death, the Soviet government allocated 426 rubles to pay for his funeral expenses.
