Xu Hong, male, 1957, born in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is a professor of psychology. I used to be an educated youth, a worker and a substitute teacher. 1983 graduated from the Education Department of Southwest Normal University. 1989 studied in the postgraduate classes of psychology department of Beijing Normal University and psychiatry department of Hunan Medical University respectively. Professor Xu Hong has been engaged in the research of applied psychology for many years. He is currently the vice chairman, executive director and director of the professional Committee of applied psychology of Sichuan Psychological Association. He is also an external professor at Correspondence University of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Human Resources of Southwest University and School of Education Science of Southwest University, and a distinguished academic member of Applied Psychology Research Center of Sichuan Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences.

In recent years, Professor Xu Hong has presided over more than ten provincial and ministerial scientific research projects.
