107 national highway is the most important north-south passage in China. Known as the "traffic artery", it is a golden channel connecting Anyang, Xinxiang, Zhengzhou, Xuchang, Luohe, Zhumadian, Xinyang and other important cities along the province. However, with the rapid development of economy and the rapid expansion of cities along the route, this passage, which once crossed provincial cities, county-level cities and suburban counties along the route, has become an important urban trunk road of the cities it passes through. Transit vehicles bring great traffic pressure to urban traffic, and urban vehicles also add great pressure to this passage.

"Under such circumstances, after the completion of Anxin Expressway, the traffic efficiency in the north-south direction of Henan Province will be greatly improved, and the traffic pressure on National Highway 107 and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway will be alleviated, especially in cities along National Highway 107."
