1985 and 1988 graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Nanjing Normal University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in computational mathematics respectively. 1998 graduated from the computer science and technology department of Nanjing University with a doctorate in computer application. 1999-2000 was a visiting scholar in the Computer Department of American Union College.
