At the invitation of CCTV's "Heavenly Creations" column, a series of programs on the production and performance of ancient musical instruments in China were recorded, and the origin, production technology and performance technology of inkstone were systematically and detailedly expounded. After the program was broadcast, it was widely concerned and praised by academic circles.
Great achievements have also been made in art teaching in Wang Hongtao, and many students have been admitted to national and provincial conservatories of music.
Since 1997, Wang Hongtao has visited Australia with the Shandong Cultural Delegation and performed with the famous Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in Australia. Invited to visit and perform in Japan and Singapore; In 2002, he visited Europe with China Shandong National Orchestra, and performed a large-scale national concert "Qilu Music Rhyme" in the "Golden Hall" in the world music holy place, and served as the lead singer.
