I haven't been out of society for a long time, but after I changed my job, I began to understand the cruel truth of the workplace more and more. When we just graduated, we were generally blessed by good schools, such as 985,211,and with our corresponding majors, it was not difficult to find a job. But if we have work experience and change jobs for some objective or subjective reasons, we will find it much more difficult to find a job than when we just graduated.

When you are a fresh graduate, the job market will be more tolerant of you. As long as you do your job as a student, if you have other skills, such as fluent English, superb PS skills and solid writing skills, then the employer should not appreciate you too much at all. But once you have worked for several years and are ready to change jobs, you will find it difficult to find a high position suitable for your age and experience, because the requirements of the company have also increased a lot.

Have you done any projects in your previous work experience? What major tasks have you handled? What achievements have you made? If you work for many years and have nothing to say, HR and the boss will probably frown. Because you are not a newcomer, even if you can continue to learn and enrich yourself at work, the company is no longer willing to give you time to study, and they will not train you like a newcomer! If when you just graduated, the company looked at your potential, then now the company looks at your strength. This is a fact. Cruel, but true.

Maybe you will think, I want to work in this company all my life, and I will not change my job, so I don't have to be selected by other companies. But now that the whole world is developing so fast, do you think you can retire in this company? Or can your company last until you retire? As a result, either you are eliminated by the company or your company is eliminated by the market.

You have to say that I am in the "iron rice bowl" unit! But look at our parents' generation, the iron rice bowl is not so good. It is better to control the career direction more realistically than to hand it over to God or others.

First of all, you should have the consciousness of "clearing the field". As soon as you enter the workplace, you must let go of some of your own aura, whether it is 985,211,in central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, the president's secretary, or department managers. You should pay attention to you now and you in the future.

Therefore, whether you intend to resign or not, you should update your resume once a year. Then, compare the updated resume with the one before the update to see if you have muddled along or achieved something this year. But you may find something even more terrible-you can't update your resume because you have had the same year as last year, no matter the position, work content or grades. Once this happens, please give yourself a hard wake-up call and tell yourself that you must change. Stagnation is very dangerous, and you must have a sense of urgency.

Secondly, you should try to make yourself a hot commodity in the workplace. Three ways can be considered.

First, become a "craftsman". "Craftsmen" will do one thing to the extreme, such as Jiro Ono, the Japanese sushi god, and Haruko Xinjin, a national treasure cleaner. Similarly, you can be a top salesman, just like our insurance queen Liu Chaoxia. You can also be a top advertiser and a top designer ... in short, maximize your irreplaceability and become a leader among your peers.

Second, become a "scarce talent". Things are scarce. If you can't do your best, try to be a scarce talent. For example, the rise of artificial intelligence now means that there are relatively few artificial intelligence talents, because this market has just been developed and the corresponding talents have not been replenished in time. If you have this ability, you will jump out.

Third, be a trustworthy and reliable person in the workplace. Most of us belong to this category, we can't be top-notch, and we are not scarce talents. So if we are not good, will we be out? Not necessarily, ordinary people may be doing ordinary jobs, but we can make ourselves a trustworthy and reliable workplace person with rich work experience and sufficient qualifications and abilities. In other words, in the workplace, we should try our best to make our bosses and customers feel at ease when they see you taking this job.

In fact, no matter what kind of people are above, it is not so easy to do. If you want to have a market in the job market forever, you must have a sense of urgency in the workplace. Don't let age grow year by year, and don't let skills fail to keep up with age and desire.
