Brief introduction of doctor octopus.
Doctor octopus, formerly known as Dr. otto gunther octavius, was born in Schenectady, New York. His family background is not very good. His father is a factory worker, a little violent, and often beats his wife and son for no reason. Although Otto is still young, he vowed never to be like his father in the future. This makes Otto study hard, not only to become a successful person, but also to save his mother's pain.

Otto later majored in physical science and became an outstanding nuclear physicist. His major is atomic physics. Because Otto has always been the best student, he is extremely disdainful of the so-called "assistant" and thinks that he can handle everything.

Then he invented a set of mechanical tentacles, one of which can lift an object weighing 8 tons. Simple operation, complete anti-radiation, strong strength and high precision have enabled him to complete one amazing experiment after another and write countless new theories, which has made him famous all over the world.

In an experiment, the pipeline broke, which led to radiation leakage and caused a big explosion. Otto was lucky to get a life back, but his four tentacles have been integrated with his body. In addition, the components in the radiation changed his brain tissue. With four more hands, Otto's brain rearranged the neural circuits in his body to optimize his body. These tentacles can operate completely according to Otto's thought.

Here, an outstanding scientist turned into a horrible criminal, and Dr. Doc was born!

Doc Ock's debut was a success, and Spider-Man was beaten out of the water and barely escaped. Peter even had the idea of giving up being Spider-Man. Later, it was under the speech of the human torch in Fantastic Four that Spider-Man decided to face Doc Ock again. After repeated challenges, Doc Ock was successfully defeated. (For details, see the third issue of Magic Spider-Man)

In the following story, Doc Ock has always been Spider-Man's most troublesome enemy.

Although Doc Ock has no superhuman strength, he is obese, overweight and nearsighted, but his four tentacles are too strong, and he also wears special windproof glasses, so he does not fall in the wind against Spider-Man. In later stories, the setting that Doc Ock is a mutant with no obvious ability was added. He has telepathic ability and can operate his tentacles through thinking.

In the first issue of "Fantastic Spider-Man (vol, 2)#5", Doc Ock crossed Charlotte Witter with a spider and transformed her into a spider woman (attention! Unlike the well-known Julia Carpenter and Jessica Drew, Spider Woman tried to deal with Spider-Man, but eventually lost to the third Spider Woman, Mattie Frankin.

In the cartoon at the end of 20 12, the former Spider-Man peter parker died, and doctor octopus succeeded peter parker as his successor Spider-Man. In the cartoon of 20 14, Spider-Man (doctor octopus) and Spider-Man were besieged by green goblin robots in 2009. He realized that he could have Spider-Man's body, tools, memory and even black technology, but he didn't have Spider-Man's will, perseverance and selfless consciousness after all, so he returned to the place where it all started, returned to Parker Industries, deleted his consciousness, returned his body to peter parker and saved new york.
